I got the contact info by searching through Google. I was quite impressed with Bob's work on our garage doors. He saved us a lot of money(about $250.00)Other guys had told us to replace few panels and they were charging for the panels and installation, etc. But Bob repaired the existing door without replacing the panels and made it quieter. I would highly recommend him for anyone with any garage door problems. I will rate him 5 out of 5.
He is a nice guy!

"Snow and icy cold didn't stop Bob Makuch from doing a fabulous job fixing our inside and outside garage openers to work perfectly and equipping us with updated equipment. We were one of Makuch Garage Doors' earliest customers. He had wowed us with his precise and great-looking work. A lot of time had passed and we hadn't even minimally taken care to use the equipment properly. I was frantically trying to get our home ready for the ambulance bringing my husband home from rehab. The door would just have to ope - but I didn't see how.

A lot of outdoor workers weren't even trying to work in that weather, but Bob showed up with enthusiasm and confidence. He patiently listened to my teary babble and then did it up right. I wish everything in my house worked so well! I would have paid more, without complaint. But I now know Bob well enough to say that he is hard-wired for honesty--and then discounts what that price would be. You simply cannot do better."

“Bob came out in August of 2009 to fix the garage door.  On Friday Oct 23rd, one of the door rollers became unhinged.  I called Bob at 7am in the morning expecting him to come in a few days to make the repair.  Instead Bob said he would be there sometime during the day.  At 6pm my thoughts were he would come another day.  Instead I saw a light shined on my address and it was Bob coming to my house at 6:30 on a Friday night.

He spent close to an hour working on my garage door, reinforcing the hinges, and lubricating the necessary spots.  This is the third or fourth time I have had Bob work on my old garage door.  I have been totally satisfied with Bob's professionalism and I have recommended him to my brother and other friends.

“Thank you, Bob, for repairing our garage door today. Last night, after our garage door would not open more than 4 inches with our opener, I looked and realized one of the torsion springs broke. After looking online, it was clear that I should call someone to do the repair, and it was recommended to look for someone rated by the Better Business Bureau rather than just looking for someone in the telephone book.

I checked the BBB site, and found that Makuch Door Company was rated A+ with zero complaints in the past 36 months. I gave them a call this morning, and was pleased and surprised to find out that someone could come out just a couple hours after I called, even though they are located almost 20 miles away from where I live. The cost I was quoted was very reasonable, based on what I read on the internet.

The repair was completed in less than an hour, and Bob even looked everything over and lubricated the door and opener mechanism, something that was beyond what I paid for or expected, but was very happy he did, nonetheless, for my peace of mind.

Everything was handled professionally, courteously and efficiently. It is clear that they know what they are doing and they do the job right.
